New Way To Make Money
General Knowledge September 29th, 2008
I just ran across a new way to make money online. RantBlogger.com pays for you to complain about whatever you want to. Following the instructions, last night I sent a six paragraph rant about the exclusionary rule to them. It took me about twenty minutes to write it. An hour later they wrote back offering me $8 for it, and even would include a link to this blog.
I replied with my email address for my Paypal account, and they paid me shortly afterwards. This morning I noticed that my writing was posted. Not a thrilling amount of money, but it is one more way a person can make money online without investing a dime.
The least they pay is $5 (if they want your rant). They have the right to use your piece elsewhere, but it is a non-exclusive right, meaning you can still post it elsewhere, use it on your website, etc. More or less this is the same deal you get with a submission to an article directory, but in this case you get paid.
I'm not sure what their budget is or how many posts they'll take from one person, but it seems a smart commentator could spend an afternoon writing opinion pieces and make $50 or $60.
