How to post comments on blogs ?

Posting comments on related blogs can be a source of traffic and backlinks to your website. Most blogs use the “no follow” tag, which prevents your link from being counted by the search engines. However, we are not sure to what extent this is implemented. And in the long run, may be there is a chance that these links may be counted.
If you have a blog, you might have already come across many spam blog comments. You will probably delete most of these spam comments right away. So posting meaningless comments will not get you any benefit. You have to post true meaningful and useful comments, so that your link stays alive.
Here are some tips on posting comments on blogs:
- Always post comments on related blogs.
- Post long comments. Avoid posts like “nice blog”, “good work”, etc. Instead write your opinion on the blog post.
- Don’t post links in your comment’s body unless it is an absolute must.
- Post comments such that it generates a discussion.
- Ask for additional clarification and more information. It won’t go unanswered.
One more important tip:
- Stay away from software or bots that claim to post spam posts. These may have short term benefits in terms of traffic, however, it will hurt your in long term. These is a possibility that your IP address may get blacklisted.
