Blogging is a great way of getting traffic to your website. However, blogging is not easy. One has to invest a lot of time in writing meaningful blog posts. Good content is the life and blood of any successful blog that attracts lots of unique visitors. It gives the blog and its author an authority in that niche. How can anyone write good blog posts ?
Here are some tips:
- Select a topic and write content on it by researching from the Internet. In the first paragraph, introduce the topic. Give more information about the topic and in the end provide a suitable conclusion. Don’t forget to add your opinion to the blog post. Make the post as personal as possible.
- Go to Google News and look at something interesting. Something that is interesting to you will also be interesting to your visitors. Paraphrase the content and add your opinion to it and post it to your blog.
- Reprint articles on your blog. There are many article directories that allow you to reprint articles. When you are reprinting articles on your blog, don’t forget to add a summary and conclusion to the article. This may be helpful in avoiding the duplicate content penalty. Also don’t use too much of reprinted content on your blog. Just add an article or two per every 10 unique posts to make.
- Have articles written by someone. You can get decent articles for as low as $5/500 words. Freelance websites and forums may be helpful in finding good writers.
How long should the articles be ? About 250-500 words. The more the better. However, don’t write 5000 word articles, as your visitors will get bored reading them
How often should you update your blog ? About 2-3 times a day. Writing 2-3 new blog posts a day will make your blog heavier by 90 blog posts every month. This will attract a lot of visitors and search engines will start loving your blog. However, you can update your blog less often once your blog sees more traffic. If your blog is about a noncompetitive niche, you can update your blog even less often.
